Fishing at Lowfields

At Lowfields, we pride ourselves in offering excellent fishing in well-stocked yet well-balanced lakes. Great care has been taken to ensure that our lakes are not over-stocked to the detriment of the fish.

We recognise that the quality, good condition and health of the fish stock is paramount and so emphasis has been placed on creating a natural, rich environment for all the lakes’ inhabitants. Stocking levels have been carefully calculated to maintain a natural ecological balance.

There are 8 lakes in total, the details of which can be found below:

South Lake
1. Lodge Lake - Bream to 8lbs, Tench to 7lbs, Crucians, Roach, Rudd, Perch and Golden Orfe to 6lbs. Mirror, Common & Ghost Carp to 18lbs.
2. Willow Lake - Bream to 6lbs, Tench to 7lbs, Crucians to 3lb, Roach & Rudd. Mirror, Common & Ghost Carp to 18lbs Carp and Perch to 4lbs.
3. South Lake - Tench to 5lbs, Bream to 5lbs, Mirror & Common Carp to 19lbs, Perch, Roach, Rudd. Chubb.
4. Irrigation Lake - Mirror & Common Carp to 20lbs+, Bream to 8lbs, Tench to 7lbs, Perch, Rudd & Roach to 3lb.
5. Grange Pond - Mirror, Common & Ghost Carp to 7lb, Tench, Roach, Perch & Bream.
6. Eagle Lake - Mirror, Common & Ghost Carp to 20lb +. Bream, Roach, Rudd & Perch
7. Silver Fish Lake - Tench to 4lb, Bream to 3lb, Roach, Perch & Ide.
8. Stock Pond - Lots of small Roach & Perch
